Pal Arinsal is Andorra's family ski area: more than 63 km of pistes across two cable-car-linked sectors in La Massana. It is ideal for learning and skiing with children, with a nursery slope, play circuits and a serious snowpark for more confident riders.

Pal or Arinsal?
They share a pass and cable car, but have different personalities. This is how we recommend them:
Pal
The family side: tree-lined pistes, a children's area for first turns with specialist instructors and fun-cross circuits that build confidence through play. Access by the CG-4 or gondola from central La Massana.
Arinsal
The sportier, more international side: higher terrain, a snowpark and lively bars when the lifts close. Access by the CG-5 or gondola from Arinsal village, with a high-level cable car linking it to Pal.
Ski passes: choosing the right one
Nord Pass
One pass for Andorra's two northern ski areas, Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís. Good value when based in La Massana or Ordino.
Mountain Pass
For ski touring and snowshoeing on the designated routes.
Day pass
A full day across both Pal Arinsal sectors, including all open pistes and facilities.
Passes are reloadable and can be bought in advance. We load the option that genuinely fits your group before you leave home.

The practical Arinsal option for lunch without removing your boots.

Getting there
By car, the CG-4 climbs to Pal and the CG-5 to Arinsal, with free parking in both sectors. Without a car, take the gondola from central La Massana or Arinsal village, plus the free shuttle from La Massana. Barcelona is around 3 hours away; we can arrange a private airport or city transfer and daily transport from your hotel to the slopes.

The season generally runs from December to April, subject to snow, with usual lift hours from 9:00 to 17:00. Times can vary by sector and weather.
6. Can I hire equipment there?
Yes, both sectors have hire shops. Book with us and your equipment will be prepared for arrival so you can start without queuing.
