We choose the school, resort and time slot to suit your level and your group, and coordinate it with the lift pass and the equipment so everything starts together on day one.

Which type of lesson
Group lessons
Small groups by level, with a keener price and the bonus of learning alongside others. The classic choice for children and for adults starting out at an easy pace.
Children's classes
Snow gardens, themed circuits and instructors who specialise in the little ones. Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal have the best-equipped areas for the very first time.
Snowboard and specialities
Beyond alpine skiing: snowboard, ski touring, freeride with UIAGM guides, telemark or modern carving. To take the leap into something new with someone who knows how to teach it.

Starting in a good snow garden, with the right equipment and a patient instructor, makes the difference between getting hooked or not. We choose the resort, school and time slot with that first day firmly in mind.
You can hold your own
The point where people plateau most. A few one-off lessons to correct posture and build confidence on red runs pay off more than many days skiing with bad habits.
You ski well
Moguls, off-piste, advanced carving or a freeride guide to make the most of Arcalís: a high level is trained too, and with a local instructor you head for the day's best snow.
Lessons, lift pass and equipment together
A one-off lesson is easy to book; a flawless first day, less so. We coordinate the lessons with the lift pass and the equipment hire so that at the appointed time you're at the meeting point with your gear on and your pass loaded. 1. From what age can children take lessons?
From age 3 in the snow gardens, with equipment sized for them and instructors who specialise in the little ones. Pal Arinsal, with its kids' snow garden, and Grandvalira, with themed areas such as Yokai or Turbo Snow Explorers, are designed precisely for that first time. Several areas also have a nursery for ages 1 to 6.
2. Which is better, a private or a group lesson?
The private lesson progresses faster and adapts to your schedule and level; it's worth it if you're going as a single group or want to make the most of a few days. The group lesson is more affordable and works very well for children and for anyone starting out at an easy pace. We'll advise you based on the group, the days and the goal.
3. Are the lessons in my language?
Yes: Andorra's schools have native instructors in Spanish, Catalan, French, English and Portuguese, and more languages on request. We take it into account when booking, especially with children, where understanding the instructor clearly is key.
4. Can I book lessons without buying the lift pass through you?
Yes, but the sensible thing is to arrange it together: we coordinate the lift pass, equipment hire and lessons so everything starts at once on day one, with no schedules to juggle on your own and no queues. It works out better and more conveniently within the trip package.
5. Do you offer snowboard lessons and other disciplines?
Yes: as well as alpine skiing, snowboard, ski touring, freeride with UIAGM guides, telemark and modern carving. If you want to try something new, we'll find the right school and instructor.
6. Which resort is best for taking lessons?
To start out and for children, Pal Arinsal and its snow gardens; for more variety, Grandvalira; and for a high level or freeride, Ordino Arcalís with a guide. The school matters as much as the resort, and that's where we guide you with local know-how.
