Andorra has three resorts and one pass, the Andorra Pass, that links them across more than 300 km of skiable terrain. You can buy it by the day or by the season, for a single resort or for the whole domain. And here is the key point: the pass works out cheaper inside a hotel + ski pass bundle than on its own.

Which pass to choose
There is no single best pass: there is the one that fits your trip. These are the four we genuinely use:
Nord Pass
Just the two northern resorts, Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís. It pays off if your base is in La Massana or Ordino and you won't head over to the Grandvalira sector.
Single-resort pass
One domain (Grandvalira, or Pal Arinsal, or Ordino Arcalís) by the day or for several days. The logical choice if you always ski in the same area and don't plan to move.
Mountain Pass
For ski touring and snowshoeing: access to the dedicated touring routes at every resort, going up and down by authorised lift.

Prices change every season, so instead of a rate that expires, we explain what drives the cost, which is what really helps you decide:
The days and the dates
The price per day drops the longer the pass, and rises in peak weeks (Christmas, Epiphany, Carnival, Easter and the Spanish long weekends). Buying in advance almost always beats the ticket office.
The age
There are child, junior, adult and senior rates, plus free passes for the youngest. Each resort sets its own age brackets, so the real saving depends on how your group is made up.
The domain
A single-resort pass is cheaper than the Andorra Pass. If you won't leave one area, there's no point paying for the 300 km; if you want to switch every day, it does pay off.
The bundle
The biggest saving isn't in the standalone pass but in pairing it with a hotel: hotel + ski pass works out better than buying everything separately, and it's what we put together by default.

1. How much does a ski pass in Andorra cost?
The price depends on the days, the season, the age and the domain: an adult day pass in high season costs more than a multi-day pass bought in advance, and a single-resort pass is cheaper than the Andorra Pass covering the three domains. As prices change every season, what we do is work out the exact cost for your dates and group, and compare it with the hotel + ski pass bundle.
2. Which pass suits me: Andorra Pass, Nord Pass or single-resort?
If you want to ski all three domains and switch mountains, the Andorra Pass. If your base is the north (La Massana or Ordino) and you only move between Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís, the Nord Pass. And if you'll always ski the same resort, that resort's pass is the most economical. We advise you based on where you stay and how many days you ski.
3. Is hotel + ski pass cheaper?
Yes, almost always. The accommodation bundle with the ski pass included works out better than buying the hotel on one side and the pass on the other, and it avoids queues and paperwork. It's the formula we put together by default unless you'd rather keep things separate.
4. Can I buy the pass and skip the ticket-office queue?
Yes. Grandvalira Resorts passes are reloadable: they're bought online in advance and arrive ready to use. If you book the trip with us, they reach you topped up before you leave home, so on your first morning you head straight to the slopes.
5. Do the passes include insurance?
The basic pass doesn't always include full accident and rescue cover. We recommend adding a specific ski insurance (covering the slopes, mountain rescue and, if you ski off-piste, freeride and touring). We include it in the quote so you don't travel with that doubt.
6. Is there a pass for non-skiers?
Yes: the pedestrian pass lets you ride the scenic lifts, eat up on the mountain and enjoy the views without skiing. It's the option for companions, and in summer several resorts open their cable cars in the same spirit.
